Runescape: Dragonwilds Mods

There is now also a creative version of Dragon Wilds that is similar to creative modes in Minecraft or other games. You have a lot more options when you're creating a world than you used to during early access, and the September update added the Custom and Creative world options with over 50 custom world setting variables for you to make your world, your way.

When you're creating a world in Dragon Wilds, you have the option of making it either private or public. With public servers, you can join other people's games even if you're not friends with them. Private servers are invitation only, and the maximum number of players on each server is four. You can also choose whether to toggle cross-play on or off when you're creating a world, and the game does have full cross-play as an option, meaning you can play with friends whichever platform they're on.

To log in and play the game, you integrate your existing Jagex account. However, no items or stats or cosmetics carry over from OSRS or RuneScape 3. Something else that does not carry over is the MMO-style trading system that exists in both those other games: Dragon Wilds does not have a grand exchange or direct player-to-player trading. If you want to trade something to somebody else, you simply drop it on the ground, and this will apparently be changing with the 2027 expansion.

Right now there is no traditional trading, though there is crossplay and a whole plethora of other world creation options. Once you've bought and downloaded Dragon Wilds, it's time to talk about how to actually get in the game.

The September update also added Ranged skill tree abilities including Hunter Sense, Spectral Arrow and Snare Skill Spells, plus poison, barbed and flaming arrows to deal poison, bleed and fire damage, as well as enchanted bolts for Crossbows, including the iconic Blurite Crossbow.

Once you're in a world, start by leveling a few core skills, and build your first base equipped with some critical stations you'll use for crafting. When it comes to which skills to focus on first, agility is the undisputed top priority.

Leveling your agility skill increases your stamina recovery rate, and it also allows you to move across the map in more efficient ways, so definitely take any chance you have to level your agility. From there, woodcutting, mining, and cooking are also essential.

Woodcutting and mining are how you're going to get most of the materials you need for crafting, and then cooking is essential for managing your health and combat viability. When it comes to woodcutting, at level 11 you unlock Astral Projection.

At level 20 in woodcutting you'll unlock the ability to clear thorny vines, which opens up hidden pathways. Leveling up mining not only allows you to get better ore, but it also unlocks passives that help with inventory management: the higher you go up in the mining skill, the less of the items that you mine weigh in your inventory, allowing you to carry more at a time.

Cooking is an essential part of Dragon Wilds, and the more you level up that skill, the better your recipes will get and the better the buffs that you'll unlock in your character. Basically all your skills just level up passively as you do things in the world, but definitely do focus on agility, woodcutting, mining, and cooking as your top priorities.

For your very first base, which you'll need for resting and crafting, you're going to want to build it close to a resource-dense area, and keep in mind you're not going to stick with your first base forever.
